Functionality and aesthetics were combined in the lighting design for this private dermatological practice in the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin.
The skin is a delicate organ, and its colour rendering is particularly important when dealing with and treating it. Special focus for the lighting was given to the consulting and treatment rooms. In these areas, the patient should feel comfortable while avoiding discomfort glare. To accommodate the requirement for high light levels for examinations and treatments, lighting scenes were developed with direct and indirect components enabling the client to adapt the lighting to each situation appropriately. The resulting lighting is pleasant, calming and of premium quality.
