A luxury apartment in the heart of Berlin has been transformed with light to house the offices of online gaming company GREE.
In coordination with interior architects kinzo, a design scheme was created to give the working space a defined identity whilst providing the functional requirements of a typical office. Distinct zones for specific user needs were delineated with changes in light levels, colour temperatures and luminaires. The centrepiece used a 40-meter interior wall as a backdrop for a folded structure evoking the heartbeat of the healthy company. A slender light slices the wall in half, adding a dynamic component to the lighting and indelibly defining the ambience in the room.
